Burrata Garden Bliss Sourdough Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1–2 tbsp cream cheese or butter
  • 6–8 cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 1 ball burrata cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, optional
  • Olive oil, optional drizzle

Method

  1. Toast sourdough slices until golden and crisp on the edges.

  2. Spread cream cheese or butter over warm toast.

  3. Mix sliced cherry tomatoes and basil with a pinch of salt.

  4. Place the tomato-basil mixture on the toast.

  5. Tear the burrata gently and place it over the toast. Let it naturally spread — don’t overwork it.

  6. Sprinkle black pepper and drizzle olive oil. Serve immediately.


Tips: Tear burrata just before serving for that creamy texture. A drizzle of balsamic glaze pairs beautifully with burrata. Add a pinch of chili flakes for a slight kick. Best enjoyed fresh — burrata loses texture if reheated.
